I have something to confess to you all. I'm a tweeker. Luckily not the drug kind. But the decorating kind. I'll bet most of you are tweekers as well. Come on, you can admit it.
I know I already posted my winter mantel earlier in the week along with my china hutch. But I tweeked my mantel just a little. So I thought I'd share it with you again.
OK, I guess technically I added 4 items, not 3. I counted the birdies as 1 item.
Right now I am happy with my mantel. I think I am done tweeking. At least for a day or two. I really need to get my Christmas trees down. Hopefully tomorrow.
Am I the only one left in blogville that still has her tree up? I hope not.
Come on, it's confession time. You can confess to me if your tree is still up, or if you are a tweeker. I won't tell.

Oh yes, I confess to be addicted to tweaking as well! I'm so glad you linked up (and tweaked) because your mantel is gorgeous. Thanks for joining!
ReplyDeleteHey Kim, love all your "tweaking" I am too. Everytime I walk by something new I have to evaluate it. See if it suits the way I'm feeling. love the little birdies, everything looks so fresh!

Loving the additions. Thank goodness I'm not the only tweeker out there.
ReplyDeleteI am always tweeking. Must be a sign of something, I just don't want to know what. Love your mantel and all your tweeks are just perfect. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm a tweaker. But not lately for some reason. I'm online too much I suppose. I love what you've done with your mantel. And no, my tree is not still up. You might consider making it a seasonal tree. Decorate it for Valentines Day. Then you're problem is solved.

This is absolutely beautiful! I love it! I posted a pic of my mantle too. But it still has my fall colors and I'm guessing it probably will stay that way (sadly) because those are the colors of my living room. Thank you so much for sharing! Your mantle is beautiful! -April
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm envious of your beatufitl mantle. Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the mantel!!!! And Iam definitely a tweaker! (And I just took down my two Christmas trees last Sunday...lol)
ReplyDeleteI really like the snowflake ornament you added. (Always love something that sparkles.) You're not alone. I have a tree up too. It's naked, but it's still up. I'm hoping the hubby will take it down. Hoping, hoping, hoping.
ReplyDeleteI came to say a personal thank you, for reading/commenting on my new blog Gals With Grandmother Faces. Your input is very much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel is so precious! I love the winter spirit!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'm a tweaker! I usually leave things along or completely re-do it. I like your new additions especially the snowflake and those cute birds!

Oh I love your Winter sign. That is so cool. And the rest of the mantel is just wintry and cozy at the same time. Neat!
ReplyDeleteIt is the 20th today and my tree is still up! I am such a "tweaker" that I'm still adjusting and fiddling with my Christmas decor even though it is time to put it away! Love your winter mantel especially the WINTER sign you made!
ReplyDeleteDD
loving your retweaked mantle!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas and so inspiring!
Your mantel looked great the first time around, it even looks better now. Yes I am a tweeker, aren't we all?
ReplyDeleteHi, Kim. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm still new and learning about the blog world, but it is always nice to see a new face. So, it's nice to meet you. I love your word sign. I have seen these before and thought that it would be fun to create my own. Kudos to you. Also, I LOVE your ziplock bag stockings. I don't know what I would do without baggies...the easter idea is great too. Thanks again for stopping by, i look forward to reading your future posts.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your mantle! I love love snowflakes and the whole winter display that you have created is just so super pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed my sugared heart tutorial :)
I love all the elements you have used here - gorgeous! The topiaries are very cool!
ReplyDeleteTweaker? Me? Guilty! I laughed so hard when I read that - it is SO me! Just ask the men (hubs, son) I live with! My "tweaking" has prompted these comments from them - "Oh God, she's at it again",
ReplyDelete"WHAT are you doing NOW?" "Didn't you just do that?" "I thought it looked OK 20 minutes ago" and my favorite which always happens during football season "Do you HAVE to do that while the game's on?" Just add as many exasperated sighs as you please throughout all said comments and you'll have a pretty accurate picture of how much they appreciate what I call "attention to detail". LOL!
